Default Front corner ambers

So at some point my front corner ambers went out. I got to changing the bulbs and no go. Further checking there is no juice. Checked every single fuse both visually and by multimeter and they’re all good. Every light besides these are good. I checked from the plug to the firewall and no juice the whole way. So.... I get to the footwell and I see this guy that looks like it should have a relay atop it but does not. Further there’s three blue with purple stripe wires to it which are the same color wires that feed the same lights. Does anyone know if there is SUPPOSED to be a relay here? I can’t imagine I wouldn’t notice it on the floor? Where it isn’t.

Then em there’s this little guy just hanging out next to it?

Any ideas??

If you have OE fog/driving lights that is the connector for the relay.

Negative. Okay. That explains that absence.

I checked the wiring from just under the steering column down and no juice. I’m thinking the light switch itself has failed. Ugh.

It's very possible the switch crapped out. Take it off and clean the contacts first. It's easy enough to do, and here is a great write up (DI, DII... STC4017 is the same switch) > https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...en-cold-86987/

Anyone know if once you take the two screws out of the front if the light/directional stalk should just come right out, easily? Mine doesn’t wanna budge.

That's normally how they like to come out.
One reason why it's a good idea to put some dielectric grease on the spade contacts, and a little on the plastic connector housings/index.
For next time the switch is removed. It's a Land Rover, there is always a "next time".

Well, it was a pretty straight forward job once I got it out, but, unfortunately it did not solve the issue.

What happens to the REAR directional light and the GREEN dash light when you turn on the turnsignal switch? Do they flash at all, and at normal speed?
