Default Fuel Injector comparison, stock vs Ford vs Volvo

So I have a set of each, all used. Decided to do the ghetto clean with brake cleaner and a 12v battery.

I was surprised at the difference in spray pattern. The stock Rover D1 injectors basically dump fuel out like a garden hose.

The Ford were better. #0280155700

And the Volvo seemed to have the best pattern of all. #0280155746

Hundred and something thousand on tje D1 injectors. They were from a parts truck I had 4 years ago.
I left the positive wire connected and pulsed the negative wire.

Actually I probably won't LOL.
I may try to use the Ford injectors, however they don't have a notch for the retaining clip.
Otherwise I'll just roll with the stock ones in this truck. If I can make this '96 last a few more years till our van is paid off I'll be happy.
I want to save the Volvo ones for my '95 build........assuming I ever get to it.

What year and model are the volvo injectors from? Do they swap into the rover? Or are you just doing a general comparison?

I have a bucket full of 940 turbo injectors from 25 years of multiple 940 ownership, and it would be too good to be true if they would swap out directly.

Arrgh. No joy. 0280150804. I bet I have 20 of them. In a bucket, in my barn and I guess that's where they will stay.

I Googled them and they look pretty similar to the stock Rover ones. Don't know about the spray pattern though.
