Fuel Pump shortage?
Nice jafir!
Thanks for the part number, this could turn out to be a cheap fix for once!
LOL
Is the other end of this harness inside or outside/underneath truck?
Thanks

The new fuel pump harness arrived. How does one install it?
I looked under the truck and saw no signs of this harness. From within the cargo area how do you get access to remove the old and replace the new?
However it looks I have to remember to give myself three times the amount of time to complete!

If you have a meter might want to check resistance to ground if that socket goes to a black/gnd wire. A lousy gnd would eventually burn your new harness.

Thanks number9 for the file and the advice.
I need to put my thinking cap on and get back out there in that area!
Will a common size hand be able to pull the new harness through to the connect to the pump or will I need a wire or something to snake it through?
Thanks

The harness commector is in the drivers rear wheel well, between the body and frame. Disconnect the old one and tape the new one to it. Then go back to the fuel pump and pull the old one out/new one in. Untape and connect.
**Update**
My 96 required the other harness, part #AMR2587G.
Sure enough if you look within the drivers rear wheel well you can spot the connector end for future reference.
Thanks again Everyone for the help!
