Fuel Rail with zero pressure?
Hello Good People,
I haven't driven the truck for two days. With the truck off I went under the hood to top off all the needed fluids and noticed the fuel rail gauge reading 0.
Even while sitting for a couple/few days what should the pressure be?
Could this be a sign a something not working properly?

If you turn the key on does it build up pressure and if so what is the pressure reading then let it sit and see how long it takes to drop back down to zero. It isn't uncommon for it to loose pressure if it hasn't been turned off and not ran for 2 days.
It's not uncommon. Rave says it is but reality and it being a Rover says it's nothing to worry about. The Fuel Pressure Regulator is supposed to control the rails pressure and they're pretty expensive to replace.
Should be at least 35 to 38 running. Replace the fuel filter if it has not been replaced recently. If that doesn't do it check that the hose clamps on the fuel pump aren't loose and loosing pressure due to loose clamps. I had that happen to me when I replaced the internal pump and the pressure would drop after turning off the ignition key.
UPDATE:
Originally I said my fuel pressure at that rail was 30psi. My mistake as it is 36psi.
I had put a fuel filter on the truck back in May 2016, so I put a new one today and the pressure at the rail is now 37psi.
Thanks Everyone, much appreciated.
