Awesome pics. Super helpful regarding the cdl issue. So you don't think trying to bully it first is the right avenue of pursuit? In the scheme of things with my truck that's probably a "next spring season" issue. Right now my focus lies in the 60k service and then repairing my head liner. I'm going to custom upholster it with digital desert camo fabric. Then if time allows this season I'm going to focus on the stereo. See my post in the av section if you have any insight into that matter.
Im not doing any off roading with the truck just yet so the cdl is gonna get back burnered but I'll definitely consult you when it's time

Just make sure they are not clogged.
Remove them, blow threw the hose and use carb cleaner to make sure the banjo bolt is clear, replace if needed.
I have found they rust and then clog but you can save them by taking a small drill bit and hand turning it in the holes and using a wire brush to clean them up.
Then blow them clean with carb cleaner, once dry replace.
I check mine once a year as part of my spring maintenance.

I use Shell Rotella 15w-40 in the summer and 5w-40 in the winter.
Depending on where you live those are the weights I recommend.

I live in Texas and with the heat I have been running the 15w-40. It is working really well for me and is cleaning the engine really well too. Just changed less than 2000 miles ago but it is getting pretty dark again (PO did **** poor job taking care of the old girl so I am playing catch up). I plan on going with the same thing when I change again in about 1000 miles.

Dexron 3 or 4, I have heard but do not know for a fact that Dexron 6 is a totally different formulation of Dexron and is not backwards compatible but like I said, I dont know.
