I'd like to get my factory fog light switch to work when the parking lights are on as well as when the head lights are on. Is there a way to do this without rewiring the entire fog light circuit?

 

Yes. take the 86 output of the relay under the hood and wire to an "always on" or "ign on" lead.

 

Wouldn't that just power up the lights whenever that source was hot? I was thinking that I need to change the power source to the switch to change what lights the fogs work with. I could always run a tap from the parking light circuit to the fog light switch's switched input. Didn't know if there was a better way.

 

So, is this still the best way to get the factory fog lights to work with when the parking lights are turned on?

Really, if i can just make the factory fog light switch work when ever i turn them on regardless of the parking/headlights would be idea in my case.
