Angry Getting This Error Code: What To Do?

I did a head gasket on my D1. Had the computer wires under the hood near the firewall on the passenger side disconnected for a couple weekends (only had a couple hours each weekend to wrench on it), while working on it, due to a recommendation. When I finished the job, it turns over fine, but there is no spark to any of the cylinders, and it won't come out of gear, and all four tires are locked.

Any help to be offered!?

Thanks!

The gems_obd manual (to be found in the google drive link in my signature) indicates that the EPROM memory has failed and the ECU can't find the default values. I'd check connections and visually inspect the ECU case for corrosion. Sometimes they can be cleaned and re-sealed. Other times a new (used) ECU is needed.

Since it worked before the head-gasket job it's most likely the connection not fully making on either connector. Try re-seating the connectors a couple of times, look for bent, broken or corrosion on the pins. I used dielectric grease and with a dab on my finger pushed it into the female connector. Don't want to smear it or allow it to build above the sockets, may cross connect. Wipe off any excess. If you can't find or resolve the problem you can contact the Paul or Will in my contact list.

Okay, thanks. I'll start there!

Also, I'm not sure that we disconnected the actual ECU behind the glove compartment..? Maybe just the ones under the hood on that side..? Should I try the same with those?

ECU is in the engine compartment. Behind the glovebox are the ABS and Alarm boxes.
