Default Gone for a while back with questions. How difficult are these items?

1. replace power steering box. Looks easy enough in Rave. curious about experiences. Also the box they sent me looks different than the one in my land rover. They say it was superceeded with this one but the high pressure lines are slightly different places (straight lined up vs. a triangle.)
2. U-Joints
3. Bearings
4. get play out of shift lever
5.replace spring to door lock front driver side.

Just curious if any of these gave anyone any real trouble and if so tricks or things to be mindful of before going at it... Thanks...

1. The power steering box isnt to bad its just getting the pitman arm off of it. I think it took me 2 days getting the arm off using heat and various pullers untill it finally moved, other than that its a fairly stright forward job. Also my replaicement was the same exact box as the original but things mite be different over there??
2. No real tricks just mark everything so its lined up corectly and grease comes out of all 4 caps
3. No real trouble there other than use the Defender grease seal (sorry dont remember part # but do search)
4. Pop the wood cap off shifter then tighten nut
5. Sorry cant help you there

I have done #5 and they are a pain!! sorry. Once you get everything out, they are a booger to get in. All I can say is be patient. Don't try to force the clips too hard and don't get frustrated getting the new springs in.

I think they got everything else...

Oh, I would mark the hubs on the driveshaft so you can bolt everything back up the same way. Mark everything. The yokes, even the shaft its'self in case it slides apart...
