had success at the junkyard today, found a head on a 98 with 127K miles that looks perfect, coolant was in good shape and looked good overall. I'll take it to the machine shop so i can get them milled on monday and we'll see how it goes from there.. Just glad i found a nice head in good shape without having to pay an arm and a leg. 60 with tax out the door.

Also, what's the difference between the early hex exhaust bolt with the locking tabs and the later 12 point 12mm exhaust bolts with the little round collar/spacer behind them? My truck had the early style and the truck i pulled them from had the late style..
