Your parents let you have a garage stall? Sheesh. I had to park on gravel for three years at home, then another 5 years after I moved out. I've only had the luxury of a garage and a carport for the last two months. The law of the land was my parents split the garage - my mom's side got her car, my dad's side got his power tools. LOL.

It's hard to do but I'd sell the Discovery and buy an economy car for less than the 240. Save your money for something more important than a piece of junk. C'mon, bling wheels and window tint? Talk about polishing a turd. If you really enjoy vehicles, you can afford a kart. Get one and learn how to set it up. Learn how to drive. You can't do anything on the street. Believe me, I tried it. It's a dead end.

I have only recently joined got my rover. 2003 D2 i got for a song!. I traded a 2006 Volvo V70R and if you know that car it is something else. A station wagon with 300bhp, AWD and can go from a stand still to 100kph in about 5 sec....

For me, although the Volvo was an amazing car, it proved to be a real challenge getting even 100 of those horse on the road in the winter. The rover allows me to go where i want, when i want (and mostly with a smile on my face).

Your decision brother, good luck

Yeah so I plan on tackling that CDL today. I got the center punch and a whole new set of bits with titanium coating. Once I take off the rivets do I just pull it out? I don't have the RAVE at the moment....

once you drill the rivets out you can pull the plate thru the console.

The larger the bit, or the thicker the material, the slower the drill speed needs to be. A sharp bit will cut just fine at a slow speed, and is a lot easier to control plus extends the life of the bit by not overheating it.

So I took out 3 rivets. One has the broken bit piece from before, any ideas on how to get that out? And that metal bracket that is held on by 2 screws is hard to get off. The PO I guess stripped the screws so I held off and cleaned up for the day because it started to get dark.
