Hello everyone,
I bought my first Land Rover a few weeks ago and need to fix the Hand Brake to get it to pass safety inspection. The lever inside moves up and down freely and upon inspection I found that the cable is broken just below the handle. I ordered a new cable and hope to get it in a few days. Knowing nothing about how the cable works can anyone give me any pointers? I have never worked with a hand brake that connects to the drive shaft before. Am I going to have to take that drum just behind the transfer case apart? I searched these forums and could not find anything. Thank you in advance,
