Hazard Lights Just Came On

Hazard Lights Just Came On

I turned on blinker and hazards came one, and wouldn't turn off. Tried fuse, battery connection. Finally, when I restarted the vehicle, they went off. Now I'm hesitant to use blinkers again.
Any advice.

Did you hit a bump at the time you turned your blinker on? If so your inertia switch set the hazards off, not the turn signal.

So was it just a fluke, or should I change the switch?

The switch contacts/plastic pieces/internal springs might be going bad. If you switch it back and forth and it fixes it, then the switch is going bad...
