But, a friend of mine, not "a friend" meaning me, but, literally, a friend of mine, I know, who could believe I have friends, but, really, I have friends and one of them is preparing to do his head gaskets, on a 96 D1...

It seems like a very straight forward old school pushrod motor, any thing out of the ordinary he needs to look out for?

U know everything already. New head bolts, get the heads refinished, have RAVE handy, lots of swivels and extensions and something to drink

Lots of stuff to drink, a large fire with scantily clad dancing girls and some good meat to put on the fire always come in handy as well.
