Default replacing head gaskets and others?

I just bought a 94 disco1 and needs new head gaskets due to seepage. I was wondering if i should just purchase a whole gasket kit or buy certain ones seperatley. Just looking for some advice on possibly other gaskets that are commonly replaced and other things like 02 sensors and things to make this old dico run better and more efficiently...

Thanks!

Default RE: replacing head gaskets and others?

I offer a very complete head gasket kit that includes items others don't. For instance, the self-sealing valve cover screws, exhaust flange-to-Y Pipe studs and jam nuts, and a complete set of the head bolts (these are "stretch" boltson the Land Rover that are indexed rather than just torqued to a ft./lb. value). You can order the kit at www.eurotekapg.com

As far as other items, it kinda depends on what maintenence the vehicle has had in the past, total miles, etc.

The water pumps tend to go at 60K intervals, the serpentine belt every 40-50K, the serpentine belt tensioner should be checked for binding. The fan clutch will bind up at higher mileage and cause your gas mileage to suffer significantly.

E-mail me at sales@eurotekapg.com with any other questions, or simply post your question on the discussion board on the site.

regards,
Geoman
