Headlamp Bulb Type
I'm replacing the rock holed left headlight on my D1.
Thinking about an HID kit while I'm at it...
Can't find the lamp type in the Rave... 55W isn't quite enough info..
Short of taking one out and looking, What lamp is it.. H7 Dual Filament ?
Thanks
John

Lot's of things are illegal...Things we all do everyday...I'm getting old and need to be able to see.. As long as I'm not getting flashed I figure I'll be ok...
And I'll be getting 4500K not 8000K so I won't have the law looking at me as badly as the kids with their blue lights..And I'll be getting a light bar and some BIG HID's for it...

8k? How's that inclement weather night vision treating you? lol
4.5k, 5k tops for visibility. Anything more is just showing off.
And on HID's in fluted housings... for everyone's sanity, get yourself a set of ECE (e-code) housings. E-code housings have almost zero light above the cutoff line, and a bit of extra light towards the shoulder so you don't mow pedestrians down, where SAE housings allow a little bit of light to escape upwards to illuminate reflective signs better. HID's in properly aimed ECE housings generate almost no glare.
