I put in the electric headlamp leveling system and love it but I hated the way the switch ended up looking on the dash. I was left with a hole where the wood bit used to screw into the dashboard. The wood bit didn't fit because the headlamp leveler switch takes up some of the space.


From eBay I bought a D2 headlamp switch plate that is longer and has a vent intended for the intake for the auto climate control system.


(This part feels kinda dirty)
I popped of the bit that covers the north american forbidden headlamp leveler switch location hole.


I removed my old switch plate and covered the holey area with a bit of black duct tape knowing it would be covered by the vent portion of the panel.

Popped the D2 switch panel in place and now it looks like the job is finished.
