Default Heads Off - 1997 Discovery v8i LSE

If anyone remembers my previous threads, my beloved D1 developed slow coolant leak on the driver side on the edge close to the firewall. I have finally decided to deal with it. Both heads are off. No warping! Also, i don't see any signs of slipped cylinder liners either - head gaskets don't have any "imprints".
Cylinders don't have any "steam cleaning" areas, leak was only at the edge of the head gasket - pics included.
If you see something what is not right, please tell me!
Overall, removal was straight forward and rather easy with the exception of bolts right next to the firewall...wow...even extra 1/4" of room there would make a huge difference!
Question: how do you guys manage to fit torque wrench into that tight space when putting it back together???

Ps. This was very neglected engine when i got it, but i'm making progress here, now off to the cleaning!!!!
