heat problem in the rover.

No i just know it needs it. The water pump bearing is out and the Tstat has almost 80K on it. I know it needs a serp belt for sure cause i havent replaced those since ive owned it. Either way it needs alot of TLC anyhow. might as well get some new parts that arent completely blown up in it replaced.

I would bet you have a air pocket. We can throw my air lift on it if you like.

I had same issue...wound up being a coolant leak...I also was hearing that gurgling/sloshing sound while running the heater.

If i do have air in my coolant system... How hard is that to clear? I do hear a slushing noise in my dash... And almost a bubbling noise... How do i clear air in the coolant system?!

You call me then drive down to my dealership and we connect the airlift to the system. If you are using green coolant then bring some with as I don't have any.

Oh i see! i like how that works, Okay well I for sure might take you up on that offer Brad, Maybe we can put our Disco heads together and see whats going on. I have to clean the rover though, I have to admit id be a little embrassed if you saw her how she is now. Poor thing looks abused!

I thought having one that is too clean is a sign of "Rover abuse"...

Yes they should be dirty. I snagged a branch on New years day, well several actually, but left one in my roof rack. Figured it is a trophy!

Its just too dirty lol from the roads and mountains and just a bunch of crap, She looks like crap though
