Heated seats burning my bum

Ouch, seat fires are a wee bit scary, I did a quick search for replacements parts and found this at rovers north.http://www.roversnorth.com/ProductDe...e=0&eq=&key=it

Unfortunately i didn't find individual elements, maybe a more thorough check will find them. Exmore trim has some videos on how to take a part your seat and put er back together, from looking at those your lookin at, Depending on skill level between 3 to 6 hours. Not to bad for the piece of mind, I actually had the same problem, but haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Just unplugged it till i could find the time.

Thank you, I have to tell you that I was quite alarmed to see a black spot on my seat! I may just unplug mine too but my poor bum may not like me too much this winter, guess it depends on how capable I feel (6 hours??) I'll check out the info - appreciate it!

you could always go all in for the furry seat covers :P, i know where im at atm, its allready starting to get a bit nippy at night, winter is well on its way !
