Question Heater blower and windows stopped working 98 discovery

New to this forum not sure I am doing this right. I have a 98 land Rover discovery. The windows and blower fan suddenly stopped working. Have checked fuses under dash and below steering column all are fine. Suggestions?

I am moving you to the DI section.

Do any of the windows work?
Have you tried wiggling the fan switch?

Jesus you are in Yakama and your heater doesn't work!!! Do they make 12v portable heaters? So they both stopped working at exactly the same time?

Default window and blower stopped working

Both the heater and the fan stopped at the same time. Have checked fuses under Hood, steering column and seat. None of the windows are working.

When you inspected the fuses was it visually or with a multimeter / continuity test? Fuses 11 and 12 (under hood) in bank A control window lift ecu and blower motor. Since you say they went out at the same time I would start by checking that fuse and its wiring connections. just a guess...

Default windows and blower stopped working

We visually checked the fuses. I took it to a mechanic and they looked at it for a couple of hours. Not sure if they did that. I live in yakima, Washington and there are only two mechanics here that will touch land rovers. I will check them today to be sure. I had no issues with anything prior. I was driving and all of a sudden the blower stopped. It was cold and the windows fogged up that's when I noticed that the windows were not working either. Everything else is fine.

Sounds like a scene from a Cheech and Chong movie! Sorry to have a laugh at your dispense. Please don't be offended.

You've come to the right place for help.

Have you tried new fuses? Just in case your visual inspection didn't catch a minor defect?

Does the fan work at any speed? I would make sure the blower motor didnt die.
