Default Help - Antenna Is Dangling!

So the radio antenna is so loose it is now sticking out sideways from the car. Yet there is no easy access from under the hood. How exactly do I tighten or replace it?

I did notice the radio stopped working a few months ago so I'm assuming the cord came loose as well. We just use IPOD so never really cared. But now it is looking bad. Is there a way to remove/unbolt from topside?

I think you need to pull the fender off or at least remove the upper Phillips head screws and pull the fender out.

Yep, most of the top phillips head screws starting at the windshield and to make it easier go ahead and remove the bolts (?) that run down the side in the door jamb. If you've never had your fender loose, you'll have to pry it apart at the top from the sealant/goo.

You may not have to remove the fender.

Removing the top screws and bending it out a little should give you enough space to work with the antenna.

Yeah, a full removal is not necessary. You have to remove enough fasteners along the top and jamb to create enough room at the top, rear of the fender to fix it. It's still a lot of work just for the antenna.

Atlantic British has replacement antenna and instruction page, you might want to look at that.
