How do you suggest removing a fuel filter that is severely rusting on the ends. I am worried if I put to much pressure on the line it will break.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

You can use this: Land Rover Fuel Filter Kit & Other Parts For Rovers at Atlantic British

Or you buy clamps, approximately 8 inches of steel fuel line and fittings, if you break something you're able to repair it.

To narrow the possibilities, you can start by replacing the filter, it costs only 10$. The I'd check electric current to the pump to be sure there is no ground issue. And if those don't clear the issue I'd move on to the fuel pump.

Apart from soaking it in PB Blaster and letting it sit for at least a day, I have no idea. I'd get spare parts needed in case I break something while removing the old filter.

My lines broke during teardown. I replaced with some Fuel Injector components I found at NAPA. Bolted right in and has been a breeze ever since.

Since I DID break them, I took the opportunity to re-locate the filter to a more protected location in order to avoid continuing to cake it with mud and water.

Do you have pictures of that? I would like to do something like that.
