Default Help with Pump plug

So i installed fuel filter, still no pressure to rail...so opened up the floor mat in back to do fuel pump and found wire snapped off plug with four wires...need to figure out how to release the broken wire so i can cut back all the wires and put new ends in. any idea where the release is?

Land Rover Fuel System Parts | Fuel Pump Wiring Harness

Land Rover Fuel System Parts | Fuel Pump Wiring Harness

I'm not sure what the difference is between the 2.

one is for pre evap...i know which harness i need but was hoping to not have to buy and wait for it...if anyone knew a way to extract the wires from the current harness. seems like there should be a release on the plug but can't find it.

Have you tried using a paper clip to push the wire out of the plug?

well i wired up my own temporary fix until i get the new wiring harness mailed to me and i now have a fully functioning vehicle....the snapped wire was the only problem. FYI for owners, the fuel pump area isn't sealed at all from where the wiring harness and fuel lines run to under the vehicle, so that's why everyone has so much rust and corrosion and why my wires snapped....going to foam the hole around the wires after the new wiring harness is in to seal in that pump area.

That ain't the only place that's not sealed, lift your carpets and see how many opening you can see daylight thru, the whole bottom is exposed to environment, dude.
