help with t-case linkage
I had a stuck diff lock. When I pulled everything out I forgot to note if I had it in high or low. I have verified it is not in neutral, but can't drive it more than a few feet in my garage to see if it is in high or low to set the linkage back correctly. Does any one know the linkage position when in either position? It is at 12 o'clock right now.

I have no idea what you nean by it's at 12 oclock now.
The shifter is to the lower right for hi unlocked and moves forward to shift from high to N to low. The same shifter moves left to lock cdl or righ to unlock. Lowest (most rearward) is Hi, centered is N, most forward is low.
There are several pics of the linkage in the link in my signature.

I was referring to the transfer-case and not the linkage as far as position. I have the linkage removed right now. I need to set the linkage back on the gear in the correct position. When I removed the linkage I don't know if I was in high or low. What I was asking is if by looking down where the linkage connects to the T-Case can I tell if I am in High or Low.

Are you referring to the Diff Lock Function and the selector plate ate the bottom of the linkage? If you are, that is opposite, to get mine to engage required CCW rotation of that center nut. If that is not what you are referring to, then disregard this statement.
Also the selection of high N or Low with the tranfer case is by the internal gearing of that shifter is it not? Refr to the pictures in my signature link. Here is a close up of the mechanism during disassembly:

This is high locked position:
