Unsure about radiator. I have no idea if the previous owner had it changed. My mechanic checked it and cleaned it up before reinstalling it. He said it was good but I should look to replacing it in a year or so.

No engine codes.

I'll check on battery grounds as soon as I check coolant level today.

Battery ground clean.

Coolant level was perfect.

Fan has resistance when engine is cold. Much less resistance when warm. It doesn't push a lot of air either. Installing new one today.

Also want to mention that my two auxiliary fans never come on no matter how high temp gauge goes, and they never stay on after truck is shut down either. They only come on when I turn on my AC.

Whether or not the fan fixes this I am hooking up ultra gauge later. To get an accurate reading.

My temp gauge used to be wonkee before I removed the batt ground from rover and cleaned all 3 points it attaches, added a ground to the engine and ground to the read support, that also fixed my voltage fluctuations

You may end up with a new aluminum read they run around $200 on eBay

Dielectric grease is your friend

You have to really overheat for those fans to come on, I don'tthink you are going to diagnose if there actually is a problem till you get a handle on the actual temp #
