Default Hesistation/Stall At Startup.

Im back in love with my rover and will never own anything else DI DII LR3 that is. But thats not to say she doesn't have her own issues.

It does this from time to time.. Seems like a missfire if I ever knew one. But Im not sure how you can tell if its a missfire. No codes or CEL.

It just happened agian at the store and It took a couple of trys to get it to run. At first it started right up and then rpms started dropping and it was really rough and seemed to struggle to idle untill it finally died

1-low fuel psi
2-idle air control valve
3-fuel temp sensor

Does it only happen with a hot start or anytime?

Pay attention to it and let us know how frequent it is and when it happens.
Hard to tell with it being so random.

Have you changed fuel filter since you've had it?

I agree with all above, check the fuel pressure at the rail. You're not going to hurt anything by replacing the fuel filter and cleaning the throttle body / IAC valve ( dont "move" the valve , just clean it ) . But my $$ is on the fuel temp sensor
