Default Hessitation and miss-fire

After solving my problem with a new fuel pressure regulator ( the right part) I removed my Y-pipe today. I used my pressure hose and cleaned it out real good. Installed it and wow what a difference. My engine actually has power again. I noticed the drivers side catalytic converter wasn't allowing as much water through as the passenger side. I kept spraying in both ends until no more black soot. I let it dry in the Oklahoma sun for a few hours and re-installed. This just might be something I will have to do every few weeks until I can sell this piece of !@#$.

So you found the remains of the potato that someone shoved in there? Not exactly, but I would guess that big restriction knocks power down to zip. I had another truck that I swear had shredded material of some kind in the cat, it would drop into the exhaust stream, the poor little four cylinder would choke down to a crawl, pull over, stop, engine stop, crank right back up and drive another 100 - 200 miles normally. An unintended check valve operation.
