Default HomeLink

All Electrical works in car, minus the factory HomeLink. There is no blinking light when buttons are pressed so I took it down and see that it's plugged in. Far as I can tell there is no fuse dedicated to this, but the manual doesn't mention it at all. Any thoughts?

well you have to hold it down until the light blinks and that never happens, so not possible to program

Do your vanity mirrors light up when opened? Check fuse #15.

Have you checked for power? I have an extra one, but it's from an early 97 truck and won't work with rolling codes (has a red led). When I added this option to my 96, had to try the salvage yard twice to get the rolling code version (with the orange led). I'd part with it for shipping costs.

I believe it's either not getting power or bad unit. Appreciate the offer but I need rolling codes as well.

Happy to share. The only reason I figured this out was that after I came back from the salvage yard with an armful of parts for $10 (I love you pull it places that have a rover or 2), I couldn't make the thing work. It would light up and everything... just would never program for my door. I googled all over and finally called homelink, and between the two it was confirmed. If I understand correctly, it works that way with all homelink, with a square LED, whether it's land rover or something else. Now if it's the triangle shaped LED, they should all be rolling compatible.
