I got one small rust spot near the alpine glass which I will remove prior to paint. Thinking about seam sealing the gutter all the way around as it is cracking. Hopefully will get my garage set up soon and get to work. That is a steal of a price and it sounds like yours is going to look really sharp, can't wait to see pics.

I thought so too. At first, I was going to do the body work myself and then have them shoot the truck, but they only quoted 150 bucks to take care of the body work... For 150 bucks I don't feel like bothering with it myself.

I do have to add in the cost of new glass seals etc, as I'm going to remove them before the paint job but I was going to do that anyways.

The jobs just waiting on the completion of my 96 so I have a good driver before I tear it down.

I agree with Long Haul, white would reject heat.

Tape a white sheet to it and stand back to look.

Ok this is a really quick job, and by no means perfect, but should give you an Idea...

Original pic I just took, Blue with white roof, Yellow with white roof... and for giggles pink with white roof...

If you think of any other combinations let me know and I'll post them... take me about 2 minutes per...

SOLD! I am painting mine pink tomorrow! LOL. I really like the yellow color. And I like the white top on all the colors. I think it looks sharp. And the more I see them the more I like them. I don't know how the yellow will look with a white top and a black hood though.
