I dunno. My fenders shake, the hood shakes...hell with it!

I had the exact issue. I solved it by putting a gasket on the hood's front edge. Basically closing the gap between the hood and the grille. It eliminated the hood vibration completely. Believe it or not, I think I gained a bit of mpg as well since the hood no longer acts like a parachute.

Yes, you are correct! L/100km to be exact. But since the Disco's mileage is so bad, it works out to be around 15mpg is the same as 15L/100km!
