hoodliner for engine compartment
what do most of you guys/girls do when your original liner basically is falling apart,has anyone used that dynamat material? or are there better options,thanks for imput,also any ideas where to get roof drip rail center peices

I've cut away the front corner of my hood liner (over the air filter). It is not clear to me that it is even needed.
As to the drip rail.... check out Rovers North. I'm not sure exactly what you need, but they have some of those pieces.

Part of it is for head protection, but the other part is that is is meant to smother a fire and keep the fire from the occupants for a bit. Which is why it uses those small plastic connectors that melt quickly.
At least that's what I hear on the internet, so it has to be true.
D2 hood liner fits more or less, have one in my truck now. I think it is slightly shorter then D1 version and a few new holes were drilled for the plastic securing pins.
I remember a while back Atlantic British still had some new ones for sale, but $$$$.
