took out front driveshaft, locked CDL and vibration is totally 100% gone. Guess that means it's new driveshaft time!

Glad you got it diagnosed. I'd say with 3"of lift you'd be safe to go DC. Check your angles just to be sure, though. The Woods is totally plug n play. Make sure you grease the ujoints and DC before installing. ;-) When you order you'll probably be asked for a measurement from pinion flange to TC flange. You may try Will Tillery, he had the best pricing when I bought mine.

ordered the Woods DC shaft. Good price, and they said they would have it in the mail tomorrow. Is there a grease for the axles that people prefer?

90, 85w90 or 85w140 gear oil in the diff.
One shot or remove the axle housing seal and run gear oil in the swivels.
Good disc brake rated grease (I use Castrol Pyroplex Blue) in the hubs, or remove the stub axle inner seal and run gear oil if you're running gear oil in your swivels.

thanks! I am still trying to figure out what all points need greased on it regularly-I already run 85/140 castrol in the T-case and diffs.
