Default How to get door switch wire out?

Im troubleshooting my dome light issue. Namely, they dont go off when in "Door" position when I shut the doors.

I start with the switch for the drivers door. Hey, look at that! There is no wire on the tab!

In case you are confused, it is this thing: Switch Hood/Door (Part # PRC8548) - Land Rover switches/control unit/actuators from Atlantic British

My question is, how the hell do I find the wire in the A-post?

It can't have fallen too far. Coat hanger wire bent in a sharp crook and go fishing.
