How to remove Driver's seat
Strange thing happened - well not strange as it is a LR - the support band under the seat broke and I am now practically sitting on the floor
What bolts do I take out to remove the entire seat so I can drop it off to the upholstery shop ?
Thanks

I did DIY repair on my '94. Good video by Exmoor Trim shows how. Got the "diaper" from UKAR Auto, but other suppliers are out there. The diaper connects with steel hooks to the steel frame. The cushion rests on top of it. Not too hard or time consuming. Might depend on the condition of the seat cover and foam. The bottom under the seat needs to be accessed in order to remove the seat cover, so way easier to remove the seat (4 bolts), seat belt (one Torx bolt), wire connectors. Maybe not possible to leave the seat in to do this job.
I recall a couple of the nuts under the truck needed to be held with a wrench in order to remove the seat bolts. I drove around with a pillow wedged under there for a year or so before I fixed mine.

Ok I got it done - had an Exmoor diaphragm - yes you do need to take the seat out - - two 10mm bolts at front of seat rail and two Torx bolts at rear of rail accessed from rear seat footwell and same size Torx bolt to remove seatbelt
Once the seat is out Remove the seat bottom upholstery clips front and side - (be careful as they are brittle plastic) and then turn seat back **** to make the back flat as possible (necessary later so you can drill two holes rear seat frame) and remove bottom cushion
Remove old original diaphragm that is only attached by hooks on both sides of the seat rail (there are no hooks on front and back of diaphragm like there is on the new rubber Exmoor replacement)
You need to drill four holes in the seat frame - two front and two back so the Exmoor replacement diaphragm will attach all the way around - I attached all clips on both sides so I could mark the front and back hole positions - once you have the holes drilled you can attach the front and back hooks
Then put it all back together - took about an hour to do
