I did try to contact him with no reply, the package above can be ordered online from lowes but is not available in stores near me since I did try to buy em in store.

I had to get it fixed so I got something similar to above that they do sell in store and cut the bushing off to use in the same way shown above, greased the hell out of everything so hoping it lasts

It'll last, mine are good since this first post. No issues whatsoever.

This method is all well and good, but you still end up with nylon rollers, that are really weak when it comes to durability.

Falconworks of Tucson Arizona (they have a website) sells a much improved long lasting version, rollers made from aluminum, for perfect no alteration fit. They are expensive though. Because they are so expensive, and because I own a mini lathe, it is a simple process to turn all aluminum rollers, custom sized to fit perfectly, for very little money; that is exactly what I did for my Discovery. No, I don't sell them, and I don't have any intentions of doing so.

I sent him an email using his email address he posted here,.....3 or 4 days ago, and so far no reply. I bought some of his rollers for a prior D2 a few years ago and they worked really well.

Lowes and Home Depot DO NOT carry this PLPCI B-622 assortment anymore, and the manufacturer may not even make it anymore.

I would not mess with them. The problem is that you have to take out the regulator to fix it with this solution. Check out this one:

Window Regulator Bushing Repair(alternative method) - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum

Simpler solution, cheaper, and I bet they still stock the washers in Lowe's

I found the door repair assortment online at home depot today but it takes almost 2 weeks to ship to store. Lowes has them but only at select stores. There are a few near me that I plan on trying to get this weekend. I can't get the pictures to show up in the alternate method but that fine with me. This looks to be a pretty simple fix this way.

But after much consideration I have decided to go with the alternative method. I can pick the washers up today and be done within a few hours without any grinding or drilling. Both are very informative however and both very doable self projects. This being my first official "repair" other than a tune-up when I first bought my Disco.

I got a set off of ebay, just don't tell people to slide on down to Lowes or HD when they DO NOT carry them. The alternative method seem inferior and where the hell are the pics?
