Default I shall call it "Progress"

The rear of my Disco has always been noisy. Finally got around to picking up a pair of rotors, calipers and pads and new Bilstein shocks

Everything went smoothly. Replacing the rotors was interesting though, are the fronts the same way?
I did all bearings and seals. The grease seal on the driver's side had failed and what was in there was just a mushy mess of grease and water. Bearings were rusty. Looks like someone had done that side before, they did not put the lock washer on and the hub nut was held on by only one thread!

Shocks were so easy, took 15 minutes each side and it rides sooo much better! I could press the old shocks with one hand and they had no rebound. While doing the shocks, I noticed the rear sway bar links had come undone. The part of the link that is mounted on the truck had quite literally popped out of the socket on the link! Very odd. Next on the list.

Few pics:

Front and rear hubs are identical so the process for changing the rotors is the same.
When you do the fronts, use hub seal RTC3511 if you do much off-roading, it's a better seal.

Pads and rotors are both Wagner. I was going to do Brembo rotors cause they're only 45$ a piece but I was in a rush.

Wow, wish somebody would mail me one for errands and such. My oldest brother is on his second one and loves them.

It looks like they put my old calipers on yout truck after I threw them away. I got the same pic of my old black one beside my new shiny caliper, it came with a goldish hue coating of some sort that I cannot remember at the moment.
