Ok I figured most of this all out I think. The light/blinker stalk coming out of the steering column is what is bad I think on mine. I still had lights when it was "in the middle" of being turned on, but no tail lights/dash lights when the actual headlights are on. I had a heck of a time trying to get off the stalk from the column, just 2 screws but I ended up having to use a screw driver to pry off the assembly. Thought i almost broke it. I also should have listened to whoever said to "not take that apart" as there is a lot going on in there. I finally got it back together and now I have permanent brake lights...they do get a little brighter when you brake though. However my dash lights work too so the only downside is permanent 3rd brake light. I think in retrospect the relay directions probably would have been the best avenue to take....
Thanks for the help!

Default more loose wires and such

I have not attempted the steering column removal yet, and test of the blinker switch.....that rear fog light switch is keping me from getting pulled over. but I am curious about the location of the yellow wire Stuart is asking about. I have a removed/loose yellow wire mysteriously coming out from near the kick plate on the passenger side. If I do need a blin
ker switch where is a good place to order one?
