In the first pic, why is the rear sitting so much lower than the front?
With all used Disco's you never know what you may encounter!
As far as keys go, buy a couple of blanks from Paul Grant and have spares cut. Also be careful with the ignition switch. They do tend to get worn and if you force them, they will break the key off and then you are in for a heap of fun!

Hey everyone! Finally have the ability to report back now that i've gotten a hold of the ignition AND door keys. Still nothin... I replaced the battery and all the major fuses, held down the immobilization switch to ensure it was depressed, closed everything up and locked and unlocked the driver's side door and still nothing... the only thing that happens is that when I turn the key from accessory to ignition there is a quiet click that sounds like it's coming from the steering column (ignition cluster) or somewhere under the driver's side dash. I only had a couple hours today to collect parts and work on it so I'll be on here collected info from this accumulative welath until I have another day to go to town on the project.

Does LED on dash do any of this?
Theft Alarm LED
Slow Flash: Immobilised or immobilised and armed
Rapid Flash: Volumetrically armed
Intermittent Rapid Flash: Perimetrically armed
No Flash for 10 Seconds: Mislock
Continuous: Driver’s door open (or ignition on) and immobilised
You may want to try lock/unlock with driver door like 10 times in a row.
