Smile Keeping my 98 Disco for the states

So after long debates with fellow Landy owners and many more hours working on my Landy, Ive decided to keep the rig and just continue slowly getting her all fixed up! No more craigslist BS. Gotta be greatful for what I already have rather than misreable for what I dont yet have. I was lucky in that my disco came with HID headlights and a 2" lift from the begining! For awhile I tried selling this Disco due to the amount of work it needed. I tried real hard to negotiate with other Landy owners regarding making payments but that did not work out. I learned that most sellers are greedy "Capitalist Pigs" all they want is money money money shoved right up their unroyal a##es! With that said I already finnished the tuneup and got most of the suspention and drivetrain work completed. Just need to buy new tires and get the alighnment. Fuel line has be repaired, power steering will soon be resolved as I already purchased a used gearbox with only 80k on it and the hose has been installed. Eventually Ill replace both the gearbox and the pump with new ones and replace the other hoses which will conclude the power steering. Soon after I get the tires Ill save up for a magnaflow stainless steel exhaust system. Throughtout all of this Ill slowly purchase all the new parts for the engine rebult which I project will take up to a year in a half to complete. Then of course comes the body work and the interior. By then I should have a fully functional 120% Discovery. The knowledge I will take from working on this Disco will be valueable no doubt in the future when I get a Disco 2. But Ive also decided to wait on the Disco 2 until I immigrate to Great Britain in 2-4 years depending on the status of my college degree. I found that generally speaking Land Rovers are cheaper in Britain than here in the states, several Discos for sale on the UK craigslist and ebay for under $5000 USD! (once converted from pound to usd).

Its not about time my man, its about redundant posting about nothing. How about post about the repair your doing, include pics and get it stickied. That sounds productive to me. Instead you insult people because they won't finance you for free or give you a Disco for next to nothing.

So you guys are complaining and ragging on someone because you think what they post is a waste of your time and space on the server. Isn't your own post regarding this a waste of time and space on the server? Not saying you can't or shouldn't post anything, just saying before you start ragging on someone, maybe step back and take a breather. Everyone on here knows I WILL chime in with useless, irrelevant and often stupid remarks. But I do (try to) refrain from jabbing at people. Especially when they are merely doing what we ask. To keep the community updated. Does he start a lot of threads? Sure, but does that matter....not one bit.

Chris,

Nobody was complaining or ragging about wasting time and space on a server. Its about the content of the posts. Heed your own advice. Step back and take a breather. Then, take a pill.
