Hi Tom R, I have looked on the opposite side of were the starter is and I don't see anything, WaldNYC posted a video of were it is, but I promise you I don't find it, I have phoned the local dealers and told me the sensor can sit in the front of the engine on the older models, but still I don't see anything.

Hi Tom R, I have found the crankshaft sensor on the side of the gearbox adapter plate, I looked in the rave manual for my discovery, I need to test it to see if that is my problem.

Is there heat shielding?

How does the plug and wiring look?

you have a spider so you must not be in north america

does your truck have a distributor?

Dude can't see from those pics , it is on engine where engine meets transmission, last pics are in right area just can't see it

Mine has metal flex tube over it, like what they used on old cars from exhaust manifold to air cleaner for preheat

As Robert was getting at, there is no crank sensor on the disco engines with distributors.
