Leak Location
Video of the Leak
I have the above leak on the drivers side near the chassis on my 1997 Discovery LSE. I think that it is leaking from the radiator since the power steering does not show any loss of fluid. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tightened the bolt on the pressure pipe I show in the video.
The leak only appears after it is cooling off from a warm condition. It does not appear when idling or when the steering wheel is turned left/right. This leak did not exists a few months ago when I purchased the vehicle.
Thank you for any help.

89,000 on the engine... 127,000 on the frame. The fluid appears nearly clear. In the video where I rub my fingers in it you can somewhat see the color. Since the leak is slow it is hard to identify. There is nothing on the OBDII reader.
Ok well our ps fluid is ATF so that would be pink or red. Crazy question, how does your master cylinder look? Look like its leaking? Also what does the coolant in your expansion tank look like? Green I hope?
Senator,
The metal pipe just below the radiator hose is the transmission cooler, has one line top and one bottom, and they have small O rings around them. Suggest you replace them and snug up. Then wipe away liquid on frame in front of power steering box to see if leak returns. Power steering also uses ATF (red fluid) and has multiple hoses and clamps that can and do leak. Metal hoses on other side of radiator are the oil cooler for engine.
You should check tranny fluid level, dipstick on passenger side of engine. Since you bought the truck, time to change fluid and filter, or at least fluid. See write up in our tech section.
Also, if you don't have one, you can download the RAVE tech manual below. Here's a page from it that shows the connections.
