Leaking T-Case

Default Leaking T-Case

So, I just purchased a 1998 50th Anniversary Edition Disco. While driving back, I finally threw the Disco in reveres to park... just to be certain. I had already put a couple of hundred of miles on it so felt everything would be fine. After looking at the ground I noticed a large amount of fluid on the ground in the exact pattern of my reversal into the parking spot.
As it turns out, I also went into the back and noticed that the rug in the back was undone. So, I lifted the back and saw that the cover to the fuel pump was off. I lifted it and looked at the pump. Previously, the pump had been replaced with a non-AELS pump (There was an extra plug that wasn't used. Hint? to PO?). I had to get the car towed because it would not start. Replaced the pump with the appropriate product. Started up in the front street just fine. I let it sit for a few minutes so that I could give the battery a bit of juice since I tried and failed at getting the engine running because of the pump.
And, that is when I noticed Lake Tahoe underneath my Disco.
Right where the Transmission and the T-Case meet there is a steady stream of oil coming out; pictured:

First, the oil is NOT pink, eliminating the transmission as the culprit.
I'm about to order a bunch of seals for both the transmission and the t-case and wanted to run this by the forum to see if anyone has run into this issue previously. It surprises me the amount that is coming out as if there is NO seal whatever. But, I did get a couple of hundred miles out of it on my way back before everything fell to pieces.

So, to the forum, first... thank you in advance.
Is the most likely culprit the seal?
There is actually a 1996 Disco at the local junk yard right now and I'm tempted to go get that T-Case and then redo everything on that one. But, there's also a very good chance that the only thing wrong with this T-Case, if that is the issue, is the seal itself. A kit costs me about $30.00 for a bunch of seals. And, it's going to cost me an entire Sunday afternoon. I can live with both of those things. I wanted a project where I meticulously was able to redo everything start to finish. I just wish I could have gotten home and been able to go to a grocery store first, though.
