Yes, OME are side specific. Even the OEM Land Rover springs are different side to side on a D1. (But not on a LHD D2).

ah hah. Thank you for clearing that up, for me. I will put the laser level, steel scale and micrometer back on the shelf...
that's why i read this stuff.

I thought the tf weren't side specific? They looked the same and weren't marked in any way.

The TF springs on my D2 were marked DS and PS. I've not seen the D1 springs, so I'm not completely SURE, but one of these years I might buy some for the 90.

DS D1 TF springs are slightly taller. Thicker coils in back. If you set the rears and fronts side by side you can see the difference.

I put a TF lift on D1. Only after we got them backwards did we realize they were side specific. Upon closer inspection of the springs we noticed the DS and PS markings.

Wonderful, such a fun job to do twice. Front and rear or just front? Where are they marked?

I ran into similar problem installing the TF kit on my RRC..luckily I caught it on the first pass..it leans to the pass side a tad when empty, but levels out with me in it.

Chances are good I need to read both with my luck. Where are they marked so I can see before I tear it part again?
