License Plate Threads
So the dip-wad at the dealership used #10 machine screws to torque down my license plate. No good dead goes undone.
Needless to say, He stripped the crap out of the threads. I got my M6 tapper out and went to town. I got all but one straightened out, but now my tapper is stuck and it feels like the whole assembly is spinning around. Can I pull the door panel and get in there somehow?

Yep, it comes off, gently, the plastic anchors that hold it to the metal door frame will tear out of their mounting locations easy. Use removal tools sold at car parts store (look like little plastic crowbars). RAVE has a body and interior manual that shows youwhat to look for.
i can assure you that unless you have the fingers of a neurosurgeon you will destroy 75% of the anchors, its just the way it is. They are old, brittle and wimpy to begin with. They are fairly cheap and I would suggest pre-ordering them, it will make the job less tedious for sure.
