Default Limited slip Diff Fluid

hey guys, going to do the diff and t case fluid in my 98 d1. i ordered it online from pep boys dont remember what weight specifically off the top of my head ( but i remember its right). i say that because when i got it in i re-checked to be sure but noticed it was actually limited slip fluid. Now i know these are open diffs with locking t case, but can i use limited slip oil? generally im told it wont hurt anything but really just want to be sure see what you guys have to say?
