Default Little Bit Of Rust

Im new to rust as I never had a vehicle that has had it, and its not common down here, I dont know the climate of SC but thats where its from.

1Im getting bubbles under my windows and side mirrors. Is there anything I can do or is this a professionals only area.

2. Im getting rust in the engine bay by the front lights and rear by the brake booster. Do I just spray it with the rust inhibitor?

Rust is like cancer, once it starts the only way to stop it is to cut it out.
Sand it down to bare metal and then paint it, thats all you can do.
We deal with rust all the time up here, every car has it in some form or another.

If your dealing with light rust, as Spike said you can take it down to bare metal, coat with with rust inhibitor, prime and paint. However if its more severe and you want to do it right, cut it out and weld in some new sheet metal. You could get away with spraying it with rust inhibitor and slathering bondo over it.. but why halfazz it?
