Low idle

Default Low idle

96 disco, when my engine is cold it idles just over 750. When it's warm it idles at 600. Haven't had any problems but when idling at 600 the oil pressure light flickers on. It goes away when I accelerate. I was wondering if there's a way to make it idle at 750 when it's warmed up? Maybe by adjusting the throttle cable, I don't need much. Thanks in advance for your help.

...or turn the idle solenoid pintle in a one revolution and see what that does. Is the IACV and port clean?

Haven't looked at the IACV yet. I'll check it out tomorrow, thanks

If the pintle and it's seat are carbon crusted that might be the ticket right there. Carb cleaner, combo battery brush and elbow grease. If it is just carbon then do your absolute best to not move the pintle.
