Going thru some things with the LT230 refresh. I've noticed that the selector was installed upside down (the ball was not riding in the cup/hoop) and the plastic bushing (frc5076 was broken). But also the top of the selector mount setup was missing the rubber boot (not the one in the cabin but FRC6872). I'm looking to replace it and make it right.
1) my selector shaft has a raised portion that it's welded to, and the lower half looks pushed into a rubber bushing... the parts diagram makes it look straight with no raised (but no part number so is it NLA?)...
2) the order of the boot assembly... securing plate, boot, another plate, gasket, housing... or (as it makes more sense) the boot and the gasket are interchangeable and just one securing plate.
