If you used manual hubs, then you'd have to drive with the diff lock on all the time that the hubs were unlocked.(correct me if I'm wrong, but all the power would transfer to the path of least resistance...the front, unlocked axles.)

If you put a set on a D2, the ETC would pick up the lack of front traction and throw all the power to the front wheels and you would be unable to drive the truck in forward or reverse unless you cad a CDL to hold all the power to the rear wheels. Doing that though would put a strain on the rear suspension and diff that were not designed for constant rear wheel drive only.

I might have to look into a set of them. I usually pull my front driveshaft when ever I have to drive any distance (helps my gas milage a lot). To bad the link posted shows them to be 10 spline and I need 24 spline.
you just need every damn thing on that truck! dont you?
