Discovery 1 ES 300tdi Cracked trim
Hi, My bumper has the trim with the spots in, but it only took two off road into trail area's to first knock out the spot lights, second when I had to be recovered from a deep river, this completely broke what was left of the trim.
I had a spare bumper and trim without the spotlight holes. Looked at your Disco and was about to cut today, then put the trim on and it just finishes the bumper off at the bottom.
My Wife will not let me take the Disco off road anymore so I will restore it back to original "road" spec. And later buy a Series 1 or 2 Defender.

Great job! OUTSTANDING..
Just did the same thing on my the 96 this morning. I could not use the bumper side caps, hit and run parking lot deal. I cut off the return side plate to 1 3/4" with a hack saw even with the bumper creating a nice turn and put a coat of paint to hold it until I can have the bumper shot. Turned out really good and just a couple hours work.

I found this on a search and liked it so much I did it to mine today
I found that the oscilating cutting tool from hf with a wood drywall blade works perfect for cutting the corners down, also it seems to work best to start at the corner with the cut and go one direction then return to the corner and cut the other direction
